Exciting News

Jul 10, 2015

I’m excited to report book sales are off to a good start and appreciate the support I’ve received helping raise awareness and funds for Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure! I’m also excited about beginning a new journey. Who knew at age 65 that I would be venturing, yet again, out of my comfort zone! Besides writing my first ever blog post, I will be visiting a handful of book clubs soon to discuss my books, Afterglow, and Obsidian Rose. Along with discussing the writing process, my intent is to reach out to those who have been caregivers, who have struggled with that process and ultimately, with loss. To those of you who have already read Obsidian Rose, and found value in reading it, please visit Amazon and “like” my book. Writing a brief review would be great.  Thanks!

    Kirby,
I ran into Steve Hendricks and he told me about your books. I ordered both and cannot tell you how much I enjoyed them. I was the Director of Surgery at DeKalb for 25 years and Bill was one of my favorite surgeons. We all knew how much he loved you and the kids and we were so sorry for your tragic loss. He was truly one of a kind. Best wishes to you.
